Brooks Families, You can expect a phone call from me later with this same information. We will be sending this information home in paper form as well. We're trying to fine-tune our plan of action in the event a bus strike occurs - so I need to ask for your assistance in a few areas. Please read on: 1. If your child is normally a Circle Drive or Walker student, please keep it that way if at all possible. The less dismissal changes we have, the better. 2. Please look carefully at the attached documents. If you have not sent in the transportation sheet, please do so immediately. Please read and understand our plan of action. 3. Note that we are staggering arrival/dismissal times for bus students. I understand that some parents may not be able to drop off/pick up their bus students up at the assigned times. If that is the case we are going to provide supervision for BUS ONLY students beginning at 8:15 and ending at 4:15. Please only utilize this resource if you have to. The more people that we have able to follow our plan - the better the plan will operate. Thanks in advance for that. 4. Please check your email sometime Sunday in the event that more information becomes available. I'll notify you of anything pertinent that I am aware of. 5. Please remember that the District will send email and phone call notifications out if a strike occurs. I would expect the timing of these calls to mirror a "snow day" call - maybe in the neighborhood of 6:00 am. That is my best guess. Thanks for preparing in advance for this possibility.
