On Thursday, November 12, 2009, Crone students and staff will be participating in a school wide assembly to celebrate our Blue ribbon status. Our entire student population of 1,124 students will attend! The assembly will take place from 9:00AM-10:00AM in the gymnasium. Speakers and Participants include: Dr. Kathryn Birkett, Superintendent A staff member from the U.S. Dept. of Education (Chicago Office) Stan Gorbatkin, Principal A few selected Crone students Keynote Motivational Speaker, Eddie Slowikowski (www.eddiespeak.com) Representative(s) from the IPSD School Board ***Students and staff are encouraged to wear blue on this day as we celebrate this achievement. |
