Hello Brookdale Parents, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our classroom volunteers for their time and effort and the rest of our parents for their understanding and patience this afternoon. Obviously, our plan to have the customary parade through the Brookdale neighborhood was thwarted by the inclement weather. I made the decision to only allow parents into the building who had previously volunteered to assist in the Fall classroom parties in order to maintain the safest environment possible for our students and staff. I encourage everyone to access the school's blog (www.brookdaleinfocus.blogspot.com) to view pictures from today. Hopefully we will have a beautiful day tomorrow for all of the kids who are going out to "trick-or-treat" and please take a moment to discuss your expectations to keep them safe while they are out and about.
