As we continue the school year, we want to remind families about the importance of school bus safety. Please ensure your child arrives at the bus stop at least 5 minutes early and waits in a safe spot, away from the road. Remind them to use caution when boarding or exiting the bus and to always wait for the driver’s signal before crossing the street. Additionally, remind your child to remain seated while the bus is moving and to follow the driver’s instructions.
We also ask parents and guardians to support bus safety by obeying traffic laws when driving near buses. Remember, it is illegal to pass a school bus when its red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended. Stopping keeps our students safe as they get on and off the bus.
