We voted! Thank you to all families who brought in pumpkins. There was a tie for First Place.....Dog Man and Cat Kid....and.....Cinderella. Smart Cookie came in Second Place and The Little Blue Truck drove into Third Place. Happy Halloween!

Students in K-3 enjoy reading the Monarch Books recommended by the Association of Illinois School Librarians.
3rd, 4th, or 5th grade students that have read at least 8 Bluestem books can participate on a team at a Welch Battle of the Bluestems in March.
The Rebecca Caudill Young Readers' Book Award is an annual award given to the author of the book voted most outstanding by students in grades four through eight in participating Illinois schools.
The Newbery Medal is awarded to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.
