U.S. News Best High Schools Ranking

U.S. News & World Report released its ranking of the 2019 Best High Schools after reviewing comprehensive data from 17,245 public high schools, including 647 in Illinois. All three District 204 high schools were ranked in the top 5 percent of high schools in the nation.

Neuqua Valley ranked 394 in the nation and 19 in the state, Metea Valley was 588 in the nation and 29 in the state, and Waubonsie Valley ranked 851 in the nation and 39 in the state.

According to U.S. News, the highest-ranked schools are those whose students excelled on state tests and performed beyond expectations| participated in and passed a variety of college-level Advanced Placement exams| and graduated in high proportions.
