Driver’s Education Course Fee Refund
Reported by email@example.com on 6/15/20
Based on guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education, the 6-hour behind the wheel portion of our Driver’s Education program was suspended as part of the Governor's mandated school closure. The classroom portion of the Driver’s Education class was completed through remote learning, and grades for this portion of the program have been reported in our student information system.
At this time, our schools are still closed for in-person instruction, including Driver’s Education. When the district reopens for in-person instruction, a plan for the safe completion of Behind the Wheel for students who were enrolled in the Spring of 2020 will be developed. Once implemented, the District’s Driver’s Education fee will be reassessed through PushCoin.
In the meantime, District 204 is refunding the Driver’s Education course fees through PushCoin for students enrolled during this school closure. This refund is intended to provide families with the flexibility to complete student driving through a private provider, if desired.
Parents can access their refund through PushCoin.
