As COVID-19 vaccines become available, many questions arise regarding their safety, when children can expect to receive them, and their effectiveness. Recently, Superintendent Dr. Adrian Talley discussed COVID-19 vaccines with two local health experts, Dr. Adam Schriedel and Dr. Jonathan Pinsky, during “Parent University: COVID-19 Vaccines.” If you were unable to attend, you can watch the video on the district’s YouTube channel.
Dr. Adam Schriedel
Adam Schriedel, MD is an internal medicine physician and Chief Medical Officer of Edward Medical Group. Dr. Schriedel earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and American Medical Association.
Dr. Jonathan Pinsky
Jonathan Pinsky, MD is an infectious disease specialist with Metro Infectious Disease Consultants and Medical Director of Infection Control and Prevention at Edward Hospital. Dr. Pinsky earned his medical degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center.
