Brooks July Reminders 7/13/22

Reported by on 7/13/22

Dear Brooks Families,

We hope you are having a safe, happy and healthy summer! It’s hard to believe school is just around the corner. Therefore, I want to provide you with some important information and updates.

Our office staff will have upcoming and overlapping vacations. There will be no office availability from July 14- July 22. Phone calls or emails will be returned upon our return. Thank you for your understanding.

THANK YOU to the families who have registered their child(ren) for the 22-23 school year! However, if you have not registered, your child has not been added to a class list and won’t be until registration is complete. Please go to Parent Vue immediately and complete the registration process. If you need assistance, you may call the school office Mon-Thurs 8:00-3:00. (630-375-3200) If you will not be attending Brooks in the fall, please let us know that as well. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

If you have an incoming Kindergarten student, please mark your calendar for OPTIONAL kindergarten assessments. If you are unable to attend, we will assess your child at the start of the school year. These assessments are brief and assist us in developing class lists. You may come during the following time frames: July 13 (has concluded) or July 19 3:00-6:00 p.m. - no pre scheduled time slot is necessary!

Please join us for the Aurora Public Library Bookmobile each Tuesday from 9:00-10:30 AM. Our turnout has been spectacular and we would love to see even more of our students. Bring your library card and your interest in a good book!
