- Consumable Fees: Applies to middle and high school courses that use consumable materials, including workbooks and supplies, as part of the coursework for certain classes. This fee will apply to foreign language, business education, applied technology, advanced placement music theory and selected high school art classes.

Elementary School
The elementary school registration fee includes essential materials and services that support student learning throughout the year. This fee covers consumable curriculum materials, use of a district-issued Chromebook and charger, and applicable transportation services.
Middle School:
Middle School registration fee will now include lab fees. The appropriate athletic and activity fees will be collected according to school instructions.
** Athletic fees are charged per sport or at $150 each. The maximum charge is $300, regardless of the number of sports in which the student is involved. Additional fees for uniform cleaning/replacement and Solo and Ensemble contest participants will also be collected by the appropriate staff.
High School:
Lab fees as well as the appropriate music and activity fees will also be collected according to school instructions. Athletic fees ($225/$450 max) will be collected according to school instructions.
Does IPSD offer fee waivers?
*If you believe your child may qualify for fee waiver, please complete the Fee Waiver Application. All applications must be returned no later than July 31, 2026, to ensure fee waiver status is determined by the first day of school. The application form will be made available online at www.ipsd.org no later than July 1, 2026.

Indian Prairie Educational Foundation
The optional Indian Prairie Educational Foundation amount is a tax-deductible donation to support educational enrichments including Teacher Grants, Young Hearts for Life, Robotics, A+ Awards and the Fine Arts Festival. Amounts in higher or lower denominations are also welcome. Thank you for supporting IPEF.
