Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Waubonsie Valley High School desires that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition or allowing students to place out of gen ed classes.
For the 2024 AP exams, students will need to follow a two-step registration process, joining MyAP Classroom through College Board and purchasing the exam through the IPSD PushCoin Webstore. Students/families must actively complete both steps for an exam to be ordered in their name; exams are non-transferable. Below are important dates for the registration process: • Monday, September 11, 2023 - Registration Begins • Wednesday, November 1, 2023 - Registrations and payments after this date will incur a $40 late fee per exam • Thursday, November 2, 2023 - Friday, March 1, 2024- Exams canceled during this window will incur a $40 cancellation fee. • Friday, Mar 1, 2024 – Late Registration Ends. No exams can be ordered after this date. No refunds can be made after this date.
