This is a critical message regarding the future of the Fischer PTSA.

 

Please note: Our next PTSA Meeting has been moved to Tuesday, May 20th.

There will be NO MEETING on May 6th!!!

The Future of the PTSA is at Stake!

The primary purpose of this important meeting on May 20th is to nominate the 2025-2026 PTSA board. However, we are facing a serious challenge: as of today, we have not received any nominations or expressions of interest for our open positions: secretary and treasurer.

 

This is not just a formality. If we do not form a new board, the Fischer PTSA will be dissolved.

 

Imagine Fischer Without the PTSA...

For years, the FMS PTSA has been a vital part of our school community, enriching the student experience in countless ways. Without the PTSA, we will lose the support and funds for:

• The Falcon Store

• New items for our classrooms, such as headphones

• 8th-grade field trip

• One Book One Student

• 6th-grade end-of-year goodies

• 8th-grade farewell picnic

• Dance Concessions

• Falcon spirit wear

• Breast cancer fundraising initiatives

• Assistance with parent-teacher conferences

• The much-appreciated teacher wellness bar

• Teacher appreciation week

• 8th-grade yard signs

• Convenient school supply ordering

• Support for orientation and end-of-year activities

• Incoming 6th-grade shirts

• Profitable fall concessions and other year round fundraising

• Crucial 7th and 8th-grade field trip communication

• And our ability to celebrate our kids every day in our school!

We Need YOUR Help to Keep the PTSA Going!

This is a direct appeal to every parent, guardian, and community member. Please take a moment to consider:

• Do you have the time and willingness to contribute to our students' experience?

• Do you know someone who does?

Please reach out to anyone you think might be able and willing to step into a board role and invite them to the meeting on May 20th.
