Volunteer Procedures

If you are a Fry Volunteer (LMC volunteer helper, PTA volunteer, etc.) we need to have you register with the district. Please visit the district 204 Volunteer Program webpage to fill out two forms: a consent form and an online application. First, complete the consent form, then upload it within the online application.

Please make sure you have completed this process before the next time you sign-in to volunteer at school.

Parking/Safety Reminders  

Brooksedge Drive: Parents who park/drop off on Brooksedge should not park on the south side of Brooksedge (it is marked “No Parking”).

On the north side, parents should not park in the yellow curb areas near the crosswalk. Please do not stop/park in these areas as you will block lines of sight and present a danger to our students and staff.

Grassmere Drive: Parents may park on Grassmere near the field, east of the staff parking lot. There is no parking on Grassmere between the parking lot entrance and exit. Also, please remember that the staff parking lot is not open to parents before/after school for drop off and pick up purposes.

Halloween Parade

Fry will hold our annual Halloween costume parade on Thursday, Oct. 31^st at 2:45, weather permitting.

Students may bring costumes with them to school in the morning.  Students will put costumes on in the afternoon. Costumes should be elementary-age appropriate. No weapons or look-a-likes are allowed.  Dressing up is optional – we will have an alternate activity for any students who would rather not be part of the parade.

Parents are invited to watch the parade along the front or south-side sidewalks of the school.  The front circle will be blocked off.  The students will parade from the gym, across the front of the school, down the sidewalk of the southside of the school and in the back doors.  It’s a quick parade!

In the event of inclement weather, the outdoor parade will be canceled.  If this is the case, parents will be notified via email by noon.
