Community Service
The Community Service Team is teaming up with Bringing Joy to host our annual Bringing Joy Donation Drive April 21-25. Fry Elementary will be collecting items to assist Bringing JOY in filling bags of JOY for patients at Comer Pediatric Oncology Clinic. They will be providing bags for toddlers-teenagers with cancer to help pass their time during treatment. A letter will be sent home with more details for grade specific donations and provided below.
Grade Level Donations:
Kindergarten: Sticker/Coloring Books OR Puzzles (patient ages 3-6 yrs old)
1st Grade: Small Play-Doh Sets OR Mess-Free Art/Craft Kits (patient ages 3-6 yrs old)
2nd Grade: Card Games/Activity Books OR Small Lego Sets/Craft Kits (patient ages 7-11 yrs old)
3rd Grade: Pop It/Fidget Toys OR Craft Markers/Pens (patient ages 7-11 yrs old)
4th Grade: Teen Coloring Books/Sketch Pads OR Craft Markers/Pens/Pencils (teen patients)
5th grade: Stress Balls OR Card Games/Puzzle Books (teen patients)

All Pro Dad
Looking for a meaningful way to connect with your child and their school community? Join us for the next All Pro Dad meeting on Friday, April 25th!
What is All Pro Dad?
All Pro Dad is a unique opportunity for dads (and other guardians if dad can’t make it) to engage with their kids, build stronger relationships, and create lasting memories—all while fostering important values. Whether you're a regular attendee or it’s your first time, this is your chance to experience what All Pro Dad is all about!
This month’s theme is Empathy, and we’ll dive into fun, interactive discussions to inspire growth and connection.

PTA Membership
PTA is here to support ALL students and teachers at Fry by helping to offset costs for important educational resources, as well as providing opportunities for students to expand their horizons (Science Fair, Talent Show, Jr. Great Books, etc) and socialize with their peers (meet and greet ice cream social, Bingo night, holiday classroom parties, 5th grade send off, etc).

Art Awareness
And here we go again…Art Awareness is back for 2024-2025 school year!!!
We’re excited to announce that Art Awareness volunteer opportunities are now open. Please click on the Sign-Up Genius below to volunteer. Only one parent is allowed to volunteer each month in their child's classroom, so sign up quickly if you are interested. Instructions are listed on the Sign-Up Genius and on the first page of each Art Awareness folder. For the new volunteers, please reach out to us and we’ll help you get started.Sign up with your preferred month to volunteer starting with October( try to pick October first if you can)
