Illinois Music Education Association All-State Festival & Music Education Conference 

The board salutes the 60 District 204 high school student musicians who were selected by The Illinois Music Education Association to perform at this weekend's All-State Music Festival in Peoria. Indian Prairie annually places at the top of school districts statewide in the number of student musicians selected for this Conference. This year District 204 has students participating in the All-state choir, orchestra, band, jazz band, and composition track.

Neuqua Valley freshman achieves rank of Eagle Scout 

The board salutes Neuqua Valley freshman Patrick Reynolds for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest advancement rank in scouting. Patrick constructed six community planter boxes at Grace Community Christian Church for his Eagle Scout service project.  
Congratulations to Patrick on achieving the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout!


Neuqua Valley School Resource Officer involved in lifesaving rescue

The board salutes Neuqua Valley School Resource Officer Mark Schumacher for his heroic actions during a recent water rescue. Schumacher, along with two other Naperville police officers, saved two adults and a toddler when their car crashed into a retention pond near the Naperville 95th Street Public Library. Officer Schumacher’s bravery and quick thinking helped save the lives of the family trapped in their vehicle and ensured the safety of all involved.
