Hello Graham Families! 

A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in and attended Graham’s Second Annual Culture Night this past week! It was a great success and fun was had by all.  A special THANK YOU to Eileen Siddiqi for all of your hard work planning and to Manu Khurana and Priya Muthukaruppan for all of your help running the event! Thank you to Mrs. Bailey, Graham’s ELL Specialist, who was the MC for the evening. The Graham community is very diverse and it was wonderful to be able to come together to showcase all the different cultures represented in our school. 

Thanks to all who donated to the Snack Drive, and to Kelly Moscickis for organizing! So many snacks were donated that we were able to keep some for Graham, and deliver the rest to the district office to be distributed to other schools in need.

SPIRITWEAR

Orders Due by February 14th

Back by popular demand! We have opened another Graham spirit wear store with new designs and fun colors for spring! A portion of the proceeds directly benefit our Graham PTA. All orders are due by February 14th and orders will be delivered to the school and sent home with students the week of 2/26.

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students)

February 9, Special times to partner with Kids Heart Challenge (Jump Rope for Heart)

This program helps provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Meanwhile, it provides extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security, reduce bullying and provide a greater sense of campus safety allowing students and teachers to focus on learning. FRIENDSHIP CLASS PARTY

Wednesday, February 14, 1:45-3:15 pm

We are looking for helpers for our Friendship Party on Wednesday, February 14th from 1:45 - 3:15 PM!  Each class is looking for 3 parent volunteers to come into school to help run their child's Friendship/Valentine's Party.  Volunteers will need to check in at the school by 1:45 PM and will be staying till 3:15 PM when the party's over. We still need volunteers in 4L, 5T & 5V!  Sign Up here

 

GLOW PARTY

Friday, February 23, Graham Gym/MPR

 

Get excited, because the second-annual GLOW PARTY is back!  The theme is READY, SET, GLOW! There will be a DJ, dancing, games, and crafts. Wear your brightest neon colors and let's glow! 

 

Choose one session to attend:

• Session One - 6:00-7:30 pm

• Session Two - 7:30-9:00 pm

 

Admission is $5 per family, CASH only, at the door.  Each child must be accompanied by only 1 parent/guardian. RSVP link coming soon!

**Due to space constraints, no non-Graham attending siblings are allowed.**

We will also have fun raffle prizes again this year, with raffle tickets sold for $1 each, CASH only.

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT DAY

March 8, 9:30-10:30 am (K-2), 2-3pm (3-5)

 

Save the date for March 8th, for this year's Junior Achievement Day! Please join us in teaching Grahams students about financial literacy! This year we are looking for 2 volunteers per classroom to teach about various financial topics. This will be a one hour session where volunteers will teach between 1 and 3 lessons depending on the grade level.

Celebrate the end of the school week with friends at our next fundraiser night!  Play with friends, eat pizza and have fun all while supporting Graham! Be on the lookout in your child’s backpack for 10 FREE play points to be used on the night of the event.
