PTA Newsletter 4/4/24

Hello Graham Families!

We hope everyone had a fun, restful spring break! Please read through to the end as we have a lot going on these next few weeks!

For those parents who have volunteered at Graham this year, please save the date for the Volunteer Appreciation Tea on Friday, April 19 from 2-3pm in the Graham MPR. This is a wonderful event put on by the Graham staff, to show their appreciation for all that we do throughout the year for the Graham community.

Attention Fifth Grade Parents! Be on the lookout for an email with information about the Fifth Grade Farewell celebration, class field trip to Ultimate Ninjas (on 5/28), family picnic (on 5/31), yard signs for purchase, and a gift to the fifth grade students from the PTA.

Staff Appreciation Week is coming soon, May 6-10! We would love to get the students involved in decorating for this special week! A display has been set up in the LMC with paper flowers, butterflies, and leaves for students to decorate. Please encourage your kids to visit the LMC to decorate one of these items for their favorite staff members.

You’re invited to participate in the Graham STEM Fair! Students will have the opportunity to present their projects to judges and receive valuable feedback on their strengths as well as areas to improve for the next fair.

Families will get to engage in fun STEM activities, check out STEM related books, and root on their fellow classmates as they present their findings.

This year’s STEM Fair is in memory of Emily Chen; former Graham parent, PTA Board Member, PTA Committee Chair, and Graham staff member, who so valued the sciences that she became the catalyst who brought the STEM Fair to Graham many years ago.
