See below for an idea of clubs offered this year. Clubs are subject to change. Clubs will be announced during the morning announcements and sent out in the daily announcements. You will eventually find the information to enroll here and in the announcements as it becomes available throughout the year. Please wait until a club is announced to contact the sponsor below.
*Intramural sports are open to all students, including sixth graders.

Mine Craft
Minecraft Club
Minecraft club is coming, starting December 17, from 3 to 4:30 in D137. There are only 30 spots, the 15 boys spots are already filled. We have 12 girls spots left. If they are not filled soon we will be allowing boys to fill in. You must sign-up using signup genius LINK. See Mr. McCarthy D137 for more information.

ALS Club
Unlock the world of American Sign Language (ASL) with a new club opportunity, where students will immerse themselves in rich vocabulary taught by experienced ASL instructors and enthusiastic high school peers from Metea Valley High School. Engage in hands-on learning and practice with a diverse range of topics. Join us for an enriching experience that opens new doors to communication and connection! The club will meet on Tuesdays 1x/month right after school in the lower A house area from October through March.

Baseball Card Club

Baseball Card Club:
We will be starting a baseball card club. You can join by going to the Granger Web Store and sign up for the club. There is a fee associated with this club. Please visit the webstore link below to sign up.
There is a Google Form link on the bottom left of the webstore page, please be sure to fill that out. That form will contain dates, times and parent permission.
If there are any families that have sports cards lying around that they would like to donate for the club, we would be happy to take them. Please just reach out to Mr. Davenport.
Mr. Davenport will be the club sponsor and questions should be directed to him.

Art Club: 6th Grade
6th Grade Art Club registration is open! Students enrolled in the Art Club will have the opportunity to explore art and crafts while meeting others with the same interests. This club is available to the first 30 6th graders who register through the webstore. The $10 Club fee will cover supplies such as clay and paint. The 6th Grade Art Club’s first meeting will be after school Monday, October 21st. All meeting dates are listed in the written announcements: 10/21, 10/23, 10/28, 10/30, 11/6, 11/11, 11/13 and 11/18.

Cooking Club
The second session of Granger Cooking Club will begin on Tuesdays from October 29th through December 3rd from 3:15 PM- 4:15 PM in the foods room (C113), and is open to all Granger students who did not attend session 1.
Spots available for the club are limited. To join cooking club, a $10 club fee needs to be submitted through the Granger webstore before Friday, October 25th or until spots fill.

6th Grade Running Club

Calling 6th Grade students!
Granger Middle School offers a co-ed intramural cross-country team that is open to 6th-grade students. This is for students who want to improve their personal fitness and experience being on a team with their peers. No experience is required. Practices will be twice a week Tuesday/Thursday from 3:15-4:15.
If you are interested, please have your parent/guardian fill out the google form and wait for an email regarding the first meeting which will be over google meets.

Math athletes it's time for Math Club! Math club meets weekly and those who qualify represent our school at a district and state competition.

Mr. Drmolka and Mrs. Evert are excited for another year of Math Club. We had over 100 students participate last year and hope to see over a hundred this year too!

Excitement is in the air as we gear up for the Granger Middle School Science Olympiad club tryouts! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their scientific knowledge, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities in a fun and competitive environment.
Tryouts will be WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30TH after school from 3:15 PM - 4:00 PM in the cafeteria.
Please note, the competition is fierce! Last year, over 100 students vied for just 30 spots.

Spelling Bee

Attention all spellers! We are excited to announce our annual Granger Spelling Bee! On January 9th, after school, registered students will have the opportunity to showcase their spelling skills, build confidence, and have some fun! The top spellers will receive certificates, bragging rights, and the chance to represent Granger in the district-wide spelling bee at the end of January!
