PTA Meeting
Please join us for one of the last PTA meetings of the year on Friday, April 19th at 9:30 in the STEM lab. We will be discussing all upcoming Fry events. Looking forward to seeing you there!
All Pro Dad
Attention All Dads!
Come one, come all, to the upcoming All Pro Dad meeting on April 19th. This gathering provides the perfect opportunity for dads and guardians to immerse themselves in their child's school life, nurturing stronger relationships and creating lasting memories. If you've never attended before, this is your chance to see what All Pro Dad is all about!
This month, we're exploring the topic of Forgiveness.

📍 Location: Multi-Purpose Room
For just $5 per family, you'll enjoy a tasty breakfast with donuts, fruit, bagels, juice and plenty of coffee. Plus, don't miss out on our regular raffle drawing where lucky students have the chance to win gift cards!

Spring Fling
Spring is here and the Fry Spring Fling carnival is just weeks away! Save the date for April 26th from 6:30- 8:30pm. Details on all activities and presale order forms for tickets and pizza meals will be going home with students this week.
We have some new and exciting attractions this year. Purchase tickets early to be first in line for henna tattoos, face painting and nail painting. Gather friends and document all the fun by stopping by the photo booth!
We still need your help to make this event a success. Please consider volunteering for a shift helping with games, food or tickets. Can’t spare the time? Donations are greatly appreciated.

Spring Fling Baskets: We will be collecting for the spring fling baskets starting this week via an amazon wishlist or a donation through venmo/paypal. The Room Parents will be sending out a letter with more details. Do you want to have the chance for your child to WIN AN IPAD, AIRPODS, OR VARIOUS GIFT CARDS ??? We will be having a donor incentive basket that your child can earn raffle tickets towards based on the amount donated to the classroom spring fling basket. More details are in the letter that will be sent home with your child.

Recognize a teacher or staff member during Teacher Appreciation Week
The Indian Prairie Parents’ Council (IPPC) is partnering with local businesses to recognize District 204 teachers and staff members for Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6 - 10. Parents and community members can honor school personnel who have made a difference this year, while also supporting students in need. Each $25 donation allows you to honor your favorite teacher with a heartfelt note and a $20 gift card that you select from the list provided. Your note and gift card will be delivered to your teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week. $5 of your donation will help support the IPPC annual school supply drive to assist students in need. Orders are being taken now through April 19, 2024. There is no limit on the number of teachers or staff members you can recognize. Monetary donations to the school supply drive can also be made in honor of a teacher or staff member. Order gift cards here. Looking for camps this summer? While these camps are primarily aimed at the respective feeder schools, all kids are welcome to participate at any of the camps even if it is not your eventual high school. Sometimes, schedules work better for other camps.

Art Awareness
We’re excited to announce that Art Awareness volunteer opportunities are now open. Please click on the Sign-Up Genius below to volunteer. Only one parent is allowed to volunteer each month in their child's classroom, so sign up quickly if you are interested.
