Spring Fling
Spring Fling week has arrived and the PTA is excited for a fun-filled event on Friday. Theme days are posted below, have fun with some of the new ideas!
Monday, April 22nd: Inside Out Day
Tuesday, April 23rd: Dress Like a Teacher Day
Wednesday, April 24th: Crazy Hair Day
Thursday, April 25th: Dress to Impress Day
Friday, April 26th: No School- Spring Fling, 6:30-8:30
The online auction will go live TONIGHT at 5pm. We have some fantastic donations this year and a “Mystery Bundle” valued at over $225!

We are still in need of your help to make this event a success. Please consider volunteering for a shift helping with games, food or tickets- we will have to close any station that does not have a volunteer attendant. Let’s help our kids have a great night, fill these spots parents!

Spring Fling Baskets: We will be collecting for the spring fling baskets starting this week via an amazon wishlist or a donation through venmo/paypal. The Room Parents will be sending out a letter with more details. Do you want to have the chance for your child to WIN AN IPAD, AIRPODS, OR VARIOUS GIFT CARDS ??? We will be having a donor incentive basket that your child can earn raffle tickets towards based on the amount donated to the classroom spring fling basket. More details are in the letter that will be sent home with your child.

Mom’s Night Out
Please join us for our first ever Mom’s Night Out hosted at Pinot’s Palette! The event will take place on Wednesday, May 29th from 7:00-9:00 PM. Enjoy drinks, upbeat music and hanging out with your favorite people while you paint! It's as fun for first-time painters as it is for experienced artists. Proceeds benefit Fry PTA. Cost is $45 per person and includes complimentary water and snacks. Cash bar is available. Sign up is due by May 19th.

Recognize a teacher or staff member during Teacher Appreciation Week
The Indian Prairie Parents’ Council (IPPC) is partnering with local businesses to recognize District 204 teachers and staff members for Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6 - 10. Parents and community members can honor school personnel who have made a difference this year, while also supporting students in need. Each $25 donation allows you to honor your favorite teacher with a heartfelt note and a $20 gift card that you select from the list provided. Your note and gift card will be delivered to your teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week. $5 of your donation will help support the IPPC annual school supply drive to assist students in need. Orders are being taken now through April 19, 2024. There is no limit on the number of teachers or staff members you can recognize. Monetary donations to the school supply drive can also be made in honor of a teacher or staff member. Order gift cards here. Summer Camp Information
Looking for camps this summer? While these camps are primarily aimed at the respective feeder schools, all kids are welcome to participate at any of the camps even if it is not your eventual high school. Sometimes, schedules work better for other camps.

Art Awareness
We’re excited to announce that Art Awareness volunteer opportunities are now open. Please click on the Sign-Up Genius below to volunteer. Only one parent is allowed to volunteer each month in their child's classroom, so sign up quickly if you are interested.
