• Safe Return to In-Person Instruction

    The District will:

    • Regularly, but no less frequently than every six months (taking into consideration the timing of significant changes to CDC guidance on reopening schools), review and, as appropriate, revise its plan for the safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services.
    • Seek and take public input into account in determining whether and what revisions are necessary.

    COVID-19 Update for the 23-24 School Year: The governor's disaster declaration for the COVID-19 public health emergency and the federal government's declaration of a public health emergency ended on May 11, 2023. This means that the district is not tracking COVID leave, nor providing restoration of used sick leave. We encourage all staff to follow guidance from the CDC and IDPH as it relates to supporting a safe in-person learning environment, which is available here: https://dph.illinois.gov/covid19/community-guidance/school-guidance.html
