Black History Month Celebration

Students and staff welcomed IPSD 204 school board president Laurie Donahue and other guest speakers to celebrate Black History Month. Our speakers spoke to the students about the importance of goal setting and building resiliency. Students presented their own works on the accomplishments and contributions African-Americans have made in our society. Participants shared a meal and conducted team building activities to conclude the event.
