Scullen Dance Cancelled

Reported by on 4/27/22

Dear Scullen Community,

Over the last two weeks, we have seen an increase in positive COVID cases among our students and staff. With the inability to ensure social distancing at this week’s dance, we must, unfortunately, cancel the event at this time. Please know that this decision is not taken lightly. I personally was so excited to provide this opportunity for our students to have fun with their friends, but I am concerned that holding this event may cause a continued increase in our COVID numbers. As a result of these recent increases in COVID cases, I myself am unable to attend the dance as I will be in quarantine until Monday despite being fully vaccinated. It is my hope that we can schedule a dance, but may find it difficult as we are so close to the end of the school year. In the 2022-2023 school year, we will be planning at least two school dances in the fall and the spring.

Thank you for your understanding.
