Wildcat Theatre Summer Camp

Elementary School Theatre Camp, Aug. 1-5:
An introductory acting summer camp for incoming 2nd-5th grade students. During the week, students learn basic skills of acting, improvisation, movement, and dance. The camp culminates in a performance on the final day. Participation guarantees a non-speaking part in the NVHS Fall Children’s Play production, a witty twist on the classic fairy tale. Show title to be announced.

Middle School Theatre Camp, Aug. 1-5:
A performance camp for incoming 6th through 8th grade students. Students will work in various aspects of theatre craft including acting, improvisation, comedy, movement, tech, and costuming. Participants will work collaboratively with high school actors to put on a performance of a collection of vignettes on Friday, August 5th at Neuqua Valley High School in the Forum Room at the Birkett Freshman Center.

High School Theatre Camp, July 25-27:
The 2022 High School Camp will offer a series of workshops taught by working theatre professionals on various theatrical topics to help students build confidence, stage skills, and a portfolio for future auditions. Workshops include stage combat, improvisation, scene work, and professional portfolio building. No prior experience needed to enroll.
