District 204 ranked as a top school district by Niche

Niche recently released its annual rankings of best school districts in the United States. Indian Prairie School District 204 ranked No. 36 for best school districts in America and No. 11 in Illinois.

All three District 204 high schools are among the top 25 public high schools in Illinois. Neuqua Valley High School is No. 11, Metea Valley High School is No. 18, and Waubonsie Valley High School is No. 25. All three District 204 high schools received a grade of A+ by Niche. Neuqua Valley is also in the list of the top 100 high schools in America, with a ranking of No. 62.

At the middle school level, Scullen Middle School was second in Illinois and 62 in the U.S., Gregory Middle School was third in Illinois and 82 in the nation, and Crone Middle School ranked sixth in Illinois and 95 across the country.

At the elementary level, eight District 204 elementary schools ranked in the top ten in Illinois. They are Spring Brook (No. 1), Graham (No. 3), Builta (No. 4), Fry (No. 5), Clow (No. 6), Peterson (No. 7), Brooks (No. 9), and Patterson (No. 10). Both Spring Brook and Graham were among the top 50 best public elementary schools in the United States, with Spring Brook at No. 38 and Graham at No. 45.

Factors included when compiling the rankings are academics, teachers, clubs and activities, diversity, administration, and college prep. Niche factors in both statistics and millions of opinions from students and parents.
