April PTA Meeting

25th Anniversary Planning Meeting
We will be having our next planning meeting for our Anniversary reception Tuesday April 12th at Graham at 2:00 PM. We are looking for volunteers to join our Anniversary Planning Committee. This committee would work with Ms. Walton and some of the Graham teachers, to plan a family friendly outdoor celebration at the school in late May. Anyone interested please attend or reach out to Tracie Skindizer at email@example.com.
Boys Choice - Escape Room Night Out! Last Call!
Fuzzy Logic escape room, located in Downers Grove, is a facility with 5 different escape rooms. We will have all of Fuzzy Logic reserved from 4:30 - 10 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
The games last one hour and there are a variety of start times so please sign up for a room that most closely matches the level of your family at a time that works for you too. Fuzzy Logic recommends The Playground for families with young children, SuperHeros, Super Villans, and the Vet Office are all right in the middle, and Temple Raiders is best for our families with older kids.
Each room can accommodate a maximum of 9 people. Please make sure to only sign up for one game/time and indicate the number of people who are coming with you so we utilize the space well and don't have to turn anyone away (and please remember that this is only for boys who are students at Graham and one parent or guardian - no other siblings).
Please come early to your session so you can enjoy some pizza in the party room!
The cost is $15 per person and you can pay using our PalPal link: http://paypal.me/grahampta or you can send a check for the total amount into the main office at school with a note on the envelope that reads, "PTA - Boys Choice".

25th Anniversary Tile Fundraiser LAST CALL!
All tiles are now past due! If you have not already turned in your anniversary tile please do so ASAP! They can be dropped off to Tracie Skindzier (River Run - 1755 Baybrook Lane) or Anne McAnnelly (High Meadow - 2704 Pennyroyal Cir)

Girls on the Run - starts Today!
Practice will begin today, on April 4th and will be held weekly on Mondays and Fridays after school until 4:30/4:45. The 5K is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 14th in Grant Park and the season will end May 28th.

April Restaurant Nights Panera Bread and Stan’s Donut Truck:
Our next restaurant night will be held this week on April 8th at Panera Bread. This will be an all day fundraiser. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
The Stan’s Donut Van is headed back to Naperville's High Meadow Park for a Graham School fundraiser on Saturday April 23rd from 9am to 11am! We strongly encourage you to pre-order which will guarantee your donuts.

Pre-orders cut off 48 hours before the event, and the options include Stan’s Van Dozen, Stan’s Greatest Hits, Assorted Half Dozen, Glutenless Half Dozen, and Vegan Half Dozen.
A limited amount of donuts will be available for onsite purchase. A portion of the event sales will be donated to Graham Elementary PTA. Thank you for your support!

We have quite a few open committee co-chair positions for next year. This is a great way to get involved with a small time commitment. Below are all the chairs that are available and attached to this email are brief descriptions of each role. Science Fair/Night Co-Chair (one time event typically held in March)

Restaurant Night Co-Chair (small, monthly time commitment)
Jump Rope for Heart (one time event typically held in February)

Thank you to everyone who attended Graham’s Science Fair before break! So much learning and fun had by all! Special thank you to Brooke Repasky Murphy for her countless hours to make it happen!!!
We still need volunteers to co-chair the science fair next year! Please reach out to a board member if interested.
Another big thank you to Amy Gunderson for working with Mr. Cooper to make Jump Rope for your Heart a success!
